很显然,任何项目的成功都取决于对目标受众的了解。尽管互联网用户越来越喜欢手机应用程序,但网站仍然能够吸引很大一部分受众。台式电脑和笔记本电脑的用户不仅可能成为新的受众目标,而且还有可能成为移动设备的用户。

MyTracker可以收集网络受众的统计数据,并为项目的所有平台创建统一的数据:确定唯一用户的数量,跟踪平台切换的顺序(网络、iOS、Android),将所收集的数据与广告活动进行比较等等。

如何运作

网络跟踪使用Top Mail.Ru提供的计数器。计数器代码可以安装在您网站的网页上,跟踪有关访问者的数据。了解计数器ID的同时,MyTracker会收集关于网站的统计资料,用来自移动设备的数据丰富收集的统计数据,将在一个窗口中提供所有平台的分析数据。

如何开始跟踪

  1. 将网络计数器添加到MyTracker中。
  2. Add the Web counter. If you've already implemented the Top Mail.Ru counter or VK Ads pixel on the website, just confirm access to it. If you haven't, you can create a new counter.
  3. 设置计数器: 启用用户跟踪和目标跟踪。
  4. 不要混淆Top Mail.ru种的目标事件
    目标与MyTracker中的自定义事件相对应,即注册、加入购物车、访问网页等。
    事件,例如跟踪器不记录的网页浏览深度和网页上的错误。

How to analyze web data

After you add and set up the counter, MyTracker will start to collect stats from your website:

  • pageviews;
  • sessions, bounces, and page depth;
  • automatic events, goals and their parameters;
  • new audiences, number of attribution and re-attribution;
  • user activity metrics: DAU, MAU, WAU, etc.
  • metrics divided up by ad campaign, partner, and other traffic sources;
  • metrics divided up by host, full web page address, page path level, title, exit page, and referrer.

To process and analyze web data, use Reports and Builder. A few examples of reports are given below.

Page activity report

Use the Page Activity report to monitor user activity on each page of your site. The report shows the number of launches and the total number of pageviews.

The launch is a page view when more than 30 minutes have passed since the last page view.

Report on events (goals)

Events (goals) are the user activities sent to MyTracker using JavaScript methods. For example, level achievement or adding to cart. For details, refer to the Track goals section.

To analyze events (goals), use the Events report and the Builder:

  1. Select the Events(d) metric in the Devices section. If UserID is sent with the event, you can additionally select the Events(u) metric.
  2. Add the Event name dimension.
  3. Select the Parameter name and Parameter value dimensions, if you want to display goals parameters in the report.
  4. Click Calculate.

Report on automatic events

Automatic events are automatically tracked events that do not require you to add any additional code to your website:

  • Form submission
  • Click on phone
  • Click on email
  • Click on social network
  • Open messenger
  • Site search
  • View catalogue
  • View product
  • Go to cart
  • Add payment info
  • Complete checkout

To view stats on automatic events, use the Report builder. For example, analyze on which pages events occur more frequently:

  1. Select dimensions Full page URL and Automatic event name.
  2. Select the Automatic events (d) metric in the Devices section. If UserID is sent with the event, you can additionally select the Automatic events (u) metric.
  3. In the report Settings, select grouping by event name.
  4. Click Calculate.

Use also Other filters → Automatic events to view event-specific data or exclude unnecessary data from the report.

Report with UTM tags

Build a report based on UTM tags.

  1. In Builder, select the required web application.
  2. Select the SubID filter in the Other filters → Traffic source section.
  3. Add the SubId values:
    • SubID Network — corresponds to utm_source;
    • SubID Campaign — corresponds to utm_campaign;
    • SubID Ad Set — corresponds to utm_content;
    • SubID Creative — corresponds to utm_term;
  4. Click Calculate.
