The report builder includes following groups of selectors:
Dimensions determine the number of rows i.e. illustrate the data. Dimensions allow you to detail stats by event dates, tracking links, countries, etc.
For example, the "Date" dimension shows stats for each individual day.
See the list of dimensions in sections Periods, Traffic source, Geo&Demography, Custom events, Device info, Finances. Note that the sections also include a list of standard metrics in addition to dimensions.
The Devices section combines metrics by user devices (smartphones, laptops, browsers in the case of web apps, and others).
For example, "First Launchesd = 2" means that an app was launched from two devices. Note that a user can have one or more devices, and some take turns on a single device.
In the MyTracker interface, device metrics are marked with the superscript letters d (devices).
See the list of standard device metrics in sections Common metrics, Device / User activity, Custom events, and others.
The Users section combines metrics by an authorized user in the app.
For example, "First Launchesu = 2" means two different users launched your app. Note that a user can authorize from different devices, and some use a single device.
In the MyTracker interface, user metrics are marked with the superscript letters u (users).
See the list of standard user metrics in sections Common metrics, Device / User activity, Custom events, and others.
